The National Center for Life and Liberty (NCLL) is an entirely new, non-profit, legal ministry that has been launched by Attorney David Gibbs III. NCLL consists of five centers-the Center for Life Defense, the Center for Church Liberty, the Center to Advance the USA, the Center for Christian Education, and the Center for Homeschool Liberty.
Through its five centers, NCLL will provide legal counsel and representation, will testify and provide model legislation to state and federal legislatures, and will engage the culture throughout the various media outlets. NCLL's mission statement is: "If it's wrong, fight it. If it's right, fight for it."
As NCLL's president and lead trial attorney, Attorney Gibbs is excited to use his legal specialties to serve a new generation of committed Christian leaders. Attorney Gibbs is best known as the lead attorney for Terri Schiavo's family during her fight for life, and for his twenty years of faithful service with the Christian Law Association. Attorney Gibbs is the host of the nationally syndicated weekly radio show, Law Talk Live, and is a regular national television contributor on the Fox News Network and other news outlets.
The Five Ministry Centers
The Center for Life Defense endeavors to protect and defend the lives of the elderly, disabled, and unborn -- all of which are becoming increasingly unprotected in America. NCLL attorneys are committed to vigorously defending life by fighting the pro-death agenda in courtrooms, hospitals, and the legislatures. NCLL will speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.
The Center for Church Liberty works together with pastors and church leaders to ensure that each NCLL member-church is protected. Each member-church is provided with an initial attorney consultation and review of its organizational documents, access to NCLL attorneys through the 24/7 emergency telephone line, and exclusive access to NCLL's online legal forms library that includes the most commonly requested legal documents needed by churches.
The Center to Advance the USA strives to advance the conservative cause in our country by educating and equipping Americans so they can advance conservative, God honoring policies. NCLL provides model legislation and will take part in actively meeting with both state and federally elected officials to promote Biblical values in government policies.
The Center for Christian Education and the Center for Homeschool Liberty pledges to ensure that parents and Christian educators maintain the rights of raising and educating children in accordance with the Biblical worldview. NCLL attorneys will review each school or homeschool and evaluate its legal compliance, will be available to help via NCLL's member-only emergency telephone line, and will provide access to NCLL's online forms library that is specifically designed to include the legal documents most commonly needed by both home and traditional schools.
NCLL offices are located in Florida, Texas, and Washington, D.C. The website is www.NCLL.org.
