Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, based in Illinois, has posted a video of Exodus International leader Alan Chambers, himself a former homosexual, in which he tells practicing homosexuals they can go to heaven, irrespective of their sin.
Americans for Truth founder Peter LaBarbera says it is sad to see Chambers apologizing to unrepentant homosexuals for the slogan "change is possible."

"What's happening is a bunch of homosexual activists trying to rationalize their lifestyle are promoting the idea of so-called gay Christianity, and it's preposterous," LaBarbera told OneNewsNow.
He goes on to say that while man is sinful, yet he works to overcome sin, what the activists are doing is trying to establish a Christian identity within that sin.
"Jesus Christ came so that we could overcome sin," LaBarbera points out. "You cannot embrace sin as an identity in the name of Christianity. And shame on Alan Chambers and the people guiding him. Shame on them for giving credence to the idea of homosexual Christianity. It's silly -- and it's very dangerous and destructive to the body of Christ."
A new ministry called the Restored Hope Network is being set up to replace Exodus International.
