Trusting in God

Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe. (Proverbs 28:26)

Trusting in God can be a very scary thing but those who walk with God and listen to His wisdom rest in His blessings. When we listen to our own counsel or the words of others over God; we forgo God’s blessing.  Not one of us is perfect but God is, and so is His wisdom. Think of someone you care about; when they are counting on you to do something they know you will do your best to come through for them. Now think of God, all-powerful all-knowing God. You will do your best because you care, but God will never fail us because He is perfect and even His love for us is perfect love. Even when we do not love ourselves, God knows our hearts and loves us for who He created us to be.
