The Beginning and the End, Part Six

Genesis 3:13 - Revelation 20:10
In the Garden of Eden evil succeeded, “And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, the serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.” [Genesis 3:13]. In the end times though God has triumphed, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” [Revelation 20:10].

Satan and his evil has already lost. He fights against us but the war is already over. In God's kingdom there is no room for Satan and his demons so we can rejoice for the death of sin and evil. Is there a time in your life where you have sensed the presence of demonic forces trying to influence your decisions?

Genesis 1:1 - Revelation 21:6
In the book of Genesis there was a beginning, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” [Genesis 1:1]. And finally in Revelation it is finished, “And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is a thirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” [Revelation 21:6].

God has a purpose for all things. His plan started in Genesis and comes to fruition in the book of Revelations. Give God the glory for His actions in your life, and thank Him for all He has done for you.

This concludes our comparison of Genesis and Revelation. God has shown us how the world began. He has given us these first three chapters of Genesis to, amongst other things; show us how our mistakes brought sin, pain and suffering into the world. Through Revelation, (literally and figuratively) He lets us know that we are not without hope. He will protect us and lead us to a life of peace. I hope you have enjoyed this comparison of these inspired words from God. There are many more ways to compare these verses, and I do pray that I have inspired some of you to research these verses as well as other topics for yourselves. God bless you today.
