Well it has certainly been busy the last few weeks. This last Sunday I was given the opportunity to go to Burton B.C. and be the guest speaker at an amazing Full Gospel Church. Rarely have I seen a congregation so in love with the Lord.
Steve our worship leader from the Bridge was gracious enough to come down with my wife Connie and I, and we were all welcomed with open arms. It really did feel like being welcomed into God's house.
After some amazing time in worship and prayer, we got down to the message. We talked about intercessory prayer and that no matter where we are, and no matter what our age, gender, health, or financial status; we can all strive to progress the Kingdom of God.
After the message we took time for an alter call and person after person came up for prayer. After awhile, the congregation started giving their testimonies and sharing words of wisdom from the Lord. We were even blessed with the opportunity to pray over an inspirational young woman who, with two others; are going to Africa as missionaries. Come to think of it... they left yesterday.
When the service was over they blessed us further by allowing us to join them for lunch. The whole congregation sit for a pot luck in fellowship every Sunday! The faith and love they have was such an inspiration. I truly hope we are invited back again soon.
Now Connie and I are off to Calgary for a week. No guest speaking this time though. Now it is time to relax with Connie's family, (and maybe sneak in some writing, shhhhh!) God bless you all!
