As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it says:
“When he ascended on high,
he led captives in his train
and gave gifts to men.”
(What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regionsc]" He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) (Ephesians 3:14-21 NIV)

Who has called us to live as Christians? Who has made us into one body? Who rules over all Christians and lives in all Christians? What has Christ given to each of us? Where did Christ go before he gave us gifts?
God has called each of us to follow Christ. We have nothing to be proud of. Christians
should love each other and be patient with each other, because we are all followers of
Jesus Christ. We are all children of our Father God in heaven. We should live with each other in peace, as one body. We should help each other and work together, even if we belong to different tribes, or church groups with different names.
Take time to be quiet. Ask God to show you if you are really humble, and if you really love other people with the love of God. That means putting other people first. Tell God you are sorry if you are not like this. Ask him to make you more like Jesus Christ. Think of ways that you can show real love to other people who believe in Jesus in the place where you live.
