Millions of Youth Pray for Awakening on School Campus
Before the opening bell on Wednesday, millions of students from across the country gathered at their school’s flagpole to pray for their nation, their towns and cities, and their schools at the annual See You at the Pole (SYATP) prayer gathering.
"First, how stinking awesome is it that our kids, shy or bold, were coming together as one in Christ! Peer pressure didn't stop them...," Sarah Downing wrote on Facebook. "We had 3 girls at the pole this morning. Christ was glorified and the school lifted to our awesome God!" |

World Congress of Families Hails Victory for Natural Marriage in Australian Parliament
What was supposed to be a historic advance for "same-sex marriage" turned into an ignominous defeat and a victory for marriage and the natural family, when the lower house of the Australian parliament voted overwhelmingly against a gay-marriage bill by a vote of 98 to 42 on September 19th in Canberra. Then on September 20th, a similar bill was defeated in the Senate by 41 votes to 26.

Letters 4 Life Smashes Goal of 100,000 Pro-Life Letters to Parliament
In less than 6 months a 17-year-old Ontario girl on fire for the pro-life cause has rallied the country to send Parliament 100,000 letters in support of unborn human life.
After becoming appalled by Prime Minister Harper’s apathy towards young life in the womb, Alexandra Jezierski started Letters4Life last March, a campaign to write 100,000 letters that “speak out against abortion.” |

Rape Fallout Continues at Tilas's Victory Christian Center
Five Victory Christian Center employees are facing criminal charges for allegedly waiting more than two weeks to report a rape claim on the church campus.
A son and daughter-in-law of pastor Sharon Daugherty are among the five facing criminal charges after a 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped last month. |

Despite Recent Report Chinese Government Has Not Banned Forced Abortion
On September 13, All Girls Allowed (AGA) sent out a press release with the bold title, "Chinese Government Bans Forced Abortion." We wish we could agree with our colleagues at AGA.
Unfortunately, this time, we cannot. AGA's claim that "the Chinese Government issued a document to Family Planning offices that bans forced abortion and sterilization" is based on links to two Chinese documents and a call to a family planning official in Chonqing City. The press release states, "What the officer in Chonqing said was incredible. Not only did they ban forced abortion, but the change came from the top down: "Earlier the government issued a document to all family planning committees," he said. "Everyone has received it." The AGA press release touted this statement as "a major change" and stated, with respect to the One Child Policy, "its days are numbered." |

B.C. Studio’s ‘Little Spinners’ Class Giving Grade Schoolers a Taste of Pole Dancing
Most parents want to keep their daughters off the pole. But a dance and fitness studio in Duncan, B.C., is planning to train girls in aerobic pole-dancing basics before they hit puberty.
The Twisted Grip Dance and Fitness Studio is offering weekend pole aerobics classes this fall aimed at children called “Little Spinners.” The sessions will run Saturdays for an hour at $70. Studio owner and instructor Kristy Craig says she is simply catering to her adult clients’ demands. |
