And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. (Ephesians 2:1-3 NKJV)
How can you tell the difference between a person who is dead and a person who is alive? How can you tell if a person is not alive to God?
There was a time when we were all dead to God. We were doing many bad things. We were in the power of the devil. God was angry with us, but he still loved us (Romans 5:6-10).
Tell God you are sorry for all the wrong things you have done. Tell him that you now want to live a life of good things that please him. Take time to thank God for all he has done through Jesus Christ. Thank him for all his love and kindness. Thank him that you all now have a place in heaven with Jesus Christ.
